A big trip was planned and Marcel was in a tizzy.

With one thing after another, it was a real headache!
Karen was busy with much teaching work,
Volunteering at the Ranch and Bethlehem Star at Church.
Bronson was recovering from finals and still
Found time for his girlfriend and work at the mill.
When what to our wondering eyes did appear,
But Anthony, home from Terrace, where he's spent the past year.
He was home for 3 weeks and looking for fun.
Snowboarding, decorating cookies, and visiting everyone.
And now it is time for the Christmas letter
The events of the year, whether worse or better.
Karen went north to see Anthony and then,
Went to Vancouver to her doctor and back home again.
Katrina and Tyler are busy in Surrey,
Where school, work, and new apartment keep them in a hurry.
They visited Vernon a few times this year,
Spring break, Matt's grad, Kate's wedding, and Thanksgiving here.
Anthony's visits were quite a surprise.
He'd turn up unannounced, a sight for sore eyes.
His work took him to a mining camp , Prince George & Deese Lake,
Helicopter mechanics cannot make a mistake!
Bronson still studies at UBCO,
Computer Programming is his major, 3 semesters to go.
Flew to Terrace in May to visit his brother.
In addition to clean-up, he worked production at the mill in summer.
Karen's year was divided between O'Keefe Ranch and Vernon schools,
With quilting, knitting, New Hope, crocheting, church library and preschool.
Marcel counted down a few more years to retire,
He fished, and tried to fix up the house for a buyer.
As we close out this year with vacation in sight,
Praying safe travel with all of our might,
To Surrey we go, over Coquihalla’s great height,
Wishing “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.”
